The Northwest Sports Complex sports a near olympic size pool with a daily schedule of activities as well as open swimming. During the summer we also offer swim lessons for all ages.


FALL 2007 - SWIM LESSON SCHEDULE:
American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program teaches aquatic and safety
skills in a logical progression. It is composed of 6 levels. The object is to
teach people to swim and to be safe in, on and around the water.
Ages 5 years and up.

October 22 - November 19, 2007
(No lessons on Wednesday, October 31st)

Level I
Introduction to Water Skills: Helps students feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water safely.

Level II
Fundamental Aquatic Skills: Gives students success with fundamental skills.
Fall Session

Level III
Stroke Development: Builds on the skills in Level II by providing additional guided practice.

Monday & Wednesday Evenings
4:45 PM - 5:15 PM
Level IV
Stroke Improvement: Develops confidence in the strokes learned and to improve other aquatic skills.

Stroke Refinement: Provides further coodination and refinement of strokes.
